Take this time to express gratitude. Make a list of the things you are grateful for. Hug those around you a little tighter. Smile wider. Tell someone that you are thankful for them. Use this time as a reset. Take a break from the grind. Take a break from long days and hard workouts. Celebrate your body. Reward your mind. Aim to strike a balance. Take deep breaths. Recognize the beauty that surrounds you. Put your phone away and take in the moment around you. Give someone in need your leftovers, a pair of gloves, a smile. Appreciate your vision, your health, your ability to run, jump, leap, chase dreams. Strive for goals. Fresh water. A roof over your head. Take a second to realize the ability to wake up and see a new day is a gift. Appreciate love, support, safety, security, the ability to learn from mistakes, friends, family, time, pain, a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in... As you go into the holiday weekend, do it with love. Do it with an open heart. Recognize your worth. Appreciate all of those around you and all that you have been given.
